Salman's Hot Air Balloon Entry Goes Bust

It was touted as the most glamourous night in Dubai in recent times and organisers of the AIBA (Arab Indo Bollywood Awards) pulled out all stops to ensure the May 29 event has the ‘wow’ factor. And naturally, Salman's entry on stage was the 'talking point'. Organiser Habib Rahman had said: “Salmans entry will be the most anticipated one of the night, so we had to plan something big. So after much brainstorming, we hit upon the idea of having him land in a hot air balloon before he takes to the stage for his act. It will be the grand finale of the night, one that I am personally looking forward to.”
Alas! Salman refused to get inside the hot air balloon.
Buzz is, he had informed the organisers a day before landing in Dubai- but they chose not to dampen the public's spirits.
A source says, "Salman came up on stage and said that it takes 45 minutes to fill up the balloon and 20 minutes to get inside it and hence he didn't want to do it."
Priyanka, however, didn't mind doing the hot air balloon act.
Bet the shirt off your back that the audience was very disappointed by Salman's refusal to make the planned entry.
That they loved every moment of his dances which followed is a different story.
